The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) and the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) invite members of the public to participate in a Public Consultation to provide feedback on accessibility in the community. This consultation is held pursuant to Sections 41(2), 79(1), 80.8, 80.19, 80.29, and 80.39 of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) 191/11.
The consultation will focus on all matters related to accessibility under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), including, but not limited to:
Transportation services
On-street parking spaces
Recreational trails
Outdoor play spaces
Rest areas
Exterior paths of travel
Participation Options:
Verbal comments: Provide feedback during the consultation.
This consultation provides an opportunity for community members, including people with disabilities, caregivers, and other stakeholders, to share their perspectives and help shape accessibility initiatives within the Town. Feedback received will help inform the Town’s 2025–2030 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, which outlines strategies and actions to improve accessibility across municipal services, facilities, and programs.
