The Town of BWG is participating in a “Week of Welcome” event planned to assist new Canadians with learning about the services available in their local community. The week is being organized by Simcoe County in partnership with Ethnic Mosaic Alliance.
Various events are scheduled across the county during the week of September 15 such as a social services fair, immigrant entrepreneur panel, job fair, cultural celebration, and citizenship ceremony. More info is available here.
We are hosting a “Municipal Open House” on September 18 from 6:00 – 8:00PM, in the Zima Room of the BWG public library (425 Holland St W).
