Festa della Repubblica is the Italian National Day and Republic Day and is celebrated on June 2 each year, commemorating the institutional referendum and the fall of Fascism in 1946.

Meet your Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Ward Councillor at an upcoming CAN Meeting.
Community Access Networking (CAN) is an initiative established by Council, providing residents the opportunity to join them in a relaxed, friendly, and informal environment; and ask questions, raise issues, and share ideas.
Each CAN meeting will be hosted by Mayor James Leduc, Deputy Mayor Raj Sandu, and a different ward Councillor every month (1 through 7). Although the events have been designed to highlight one ward per meeting, all residents are welcome to attend any meeting date of their choosing.
Join us at an upcoming CAN meeting:

- Ask questions, share ideas, and more!
Registration is not required to attend these events; they are open-house/drop-in style.

The Barrie-Simcoe-Muskoka branch of St. John Ambulance has been serving the community since 1941 and fulfilling their mission to enable Canadians to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, an opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions and experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
We are grateful to exist here on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes Ojibwe, Odawa and Potawatomi Nation, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. We recognize that the Huron-Wendat, Chippewa and Haudenosaunee Nations have walked on this territory over time.

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury invites everyone to join in on the Canada Day celebrations on Friday, July 1 at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre. The festivities commence at 4:00pm, and includes entertainment, music, food, the official ceremonies, the presentation of the annual Civic Awards and closing with an amazing show of fireworks at 10pm.
