Location: Zima Room
Especially for parents of children newly diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
These free workshops give parents and caregivers the opportunity to create resources, such as token boards, choice boards, and social narratives, for their child with the support of our team.
During this event, you will have access to a variety of pre-made resources that can be customized to your child’s needs through the guidance of an Autism Spectrum Disorder Consultant. In addition to making resources, you can also learn about some of the services we provide like Groups, Resource Kits, and Parent & Caregiver workshops.
While you are meeting the Kinark team, your child can enjoy a Sensory Playtime hosted by the Library!
